Mucosolvan Syrup 200ml Cold & Flu Chronic Cough Syrop Kaszel UK Stock DescriptionIndications Acute and chronic diseases of the lungs and bronchi with disturbed mucus secretion and difficulties in its transport. Composition 5 ml of syrup contains the active ingredient: 30 mg ambroxol hydrochloride; in addition, the drug contains: hydroxyethylcellulose, liquid sorbitol, non-crystallizing, glycerol 85%, benzoic acid, acesulfame potassium, strawberry flavor PHL 132200, vanilla flavor 201629, purified water. Action It increases the secretion of mucus in the airways, which facilitates expectoration and soothes coughing. Dosage The usual dose is: - adults and children over 12 years of age: 10 ml of syrup twice a day; - children from 6 to 12 years of age: 5 ml of syrup 2-3 times a day; - children from 2 to 6 years of age: 2.5 ml of syrup 3 times a day; - children from 1 to 2 years of age: 2.5 ml of syrup twice a day. If the symptoms do not improve after 4-5 days, contact your doctor. The syrup can be taken with or without food. Contraindications Allergy (hypersensitivity) to the components of the drug; hereditary intolerance to any component of the drug (including lactose intolerance). Use with caution if the patient has severe renal impairment or severe liver failure, consult a doctor before taking the drug. It is not recommended to use the drug in breastfeeding and pregnant women, especially in the first trimester. If the patient has been diagnosed with intolerance to some sugars, the patient should consult a doctor before taking the drug (5 ml of syrup contains 1.2 g of sorbitol).
